More rides, no missed rides
WellTransfers is an app in which independent taxi drivers, taxi companies and dispatchers share rides with each other. If you cannot drive a ride yourself, you give it to another driver instead of cancelling it.
WellTransfers is a Dutch company, registered with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce under number 97992135. It is a taxi and chauffeur network, and it is not connected to WeTransfer, the file transfer service with the similar name.
WellTransfers brings supply and demand together in one network, with clear agreements and records that always add up.
Rides get turned down
At busy times taxi companies and dispatchers get more requests than they can drive themselves. Those rides are now turned down or passed on through loose phone calls and chat groups.
Drivers have empty hours
Independent drivers, on the other hand, often have empty hours and no access to the better business rides from hotels, companies and events.
Commissions lead to arguments
Commission agreements are made verbally and lead to arguments afterwards, because nobody has records that add up.
Frequently asked questions about the company
How does WellTransfers make money?
In two ways, and both are on our pricing page. An independent driver pays €24.99 a month excluding VAT (€0 until 1 March 2027) for their place in the network, and 0% on the rides they drive themselves: so no percentage comes off their turnover. Whoever hands out a ride to someone else pays 5% of the commission they receive on that ride. Taxi companies, dispatchers and clients pay no subscription, and the driver’s subscription is cancellable monthly.
Is WellTransfers a Dutch company?
Yes, registered with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce under number 97992135. The platform itself is not tied to the Netherlands: the network is active across Europe, so drivers and dispatchers can also sign up from abroad and share rides across the border. The premium chauffeur service drives in Amsterdam and the surrounding area.
How do I know whether a driver is reliable?
A driver can only take rides once the platform has approved their application and their car. For every driver we review the driver card, driving licence, insurance and vehicle registration one by one, and a document that is about to expire comes up on our list before its expiry date, with a reminder to the driver. The driver card itself is only issued by Kiwa Register after the CBR taxi exam, with a certificate of conduct (VOG) and a medical certificate. For your ride you can see in advance who will be driving: name, car and licence plate (and their photo, if they have one) appear on your tracking link as soon as the ride has been assigned to a driver.
