Taxi dispatch software for your dispatch company
With WellTransfers you plan rides, divide them among your own and external drivers, and pass rides you cannot drive yourself on to the network. That way no ride gets lost at busy moments, without ad hoc phone calls and chat groups.

A ride you cannot drive yourself, step by step
Open the ride and choose Dispatch
Every ride on your board has the Dispatch button, and the ride file has Choose driver. You do not have to push the ride to a pool or a chat group first: you stay in the same ride.
Pick a driver from the list
You see the approved drivers who are online, nearest first, with their distance to the pickup address, their car and their status. They are on the map next to it with the ride. A driver who does not fit this ride is greyed out.
Check what does not fit
Tap a driver and one sentence tells you what does not match: too few seats for the number of passengers, too little luggage space, no card payment, no rides on account, no suit or tie. You also see their car and their languages.
Send the offer
Send sends the ride to that one driver. If something does not fit, the app first asks Send anyway: you decide, the app does not stop you. You can also choose Send with callback, or call them first.
The driver accepts or declines
They get the whole ride as a notification on their phone, even with the app closed: price, route, pickup time, distance and commission, with Accept and Decline. They have 24 seconds, with a countdown ring around the buttons. If they do not respond, the ride is back with you as Scheduled and you choose someone else.
Handing back is a request, until they arrive
If the driver is unexpectedly stuck, they ask, up to the pickup address, whether they may hand the ride back, with a reason. You get that as a notification with a timer and have 5 minutes and 30 seconds to approve or refuse; until that decision the ride stays with them. If you do not decide, the request goes through by itself and the ride is open with you again. So it never silently disappears from your planning.
And then: live tracking and settlement
As soon as the driver is on the way, you, your client and the traveller follow the ride live on the map. Afterwards the app records the fare and calculates the commission from the terms the driver saw in the offer, not from an amount that was changed afterwards. After the ride the commission goes from the driver to you through the wallets. If the ride was on account and invoicing is switched on for that client, the app also creates the invoice to them: per ride, or at the end of the month one monthly invoice listing all rides of that customer.
Everything for your taxi dispatch and ride planning
Ride assignment
You choose the driver yourself: nearest first, with their car and ride preferences, and in one sentence what does not fit the ride.
Ride planning software
Taxi planning without the hassle: pre-booked rides in one schedule, and you assign them whenever it suits you.
GPS tracking
All drivers and active rides in real time on the map.
Operator console
Your rides in tabs (open, active, scheduled, closed) with counters, the drivers live on the map beside them, and notifications as soon as something happens.
Passing rides on to the network
You offer rides you cannot drive yourself to approved independent drivers. The commission automatically goes to the right party.
Clients and drivers
Clients with their own portal logins. For every driver you see their car and which rides they do and do not drive, and you only offer rides to approved drivers.
Your own taxi booking system
Customers book and track rides online; hotels and companies get their own booking portal.
Your own logo
Your name and logo in your clients’ portal; a hotel or company can also have its own logo there.
Fares and agreements
Your own meter fare per vehicle type, and per client a fixed price per pair of addresses, a price per postcode area or a separate fare.
Invoicing your clients
An invoice per ride and a monthly invoice per client, as a PDF with your details on it. You send it yourself.
Your own wallet
Commission you receive goes into your company’s wallet after every ride, minus the fee. You pay out whenever you want, and each week you get one invoice listing all rides.
Hotel in Amsterdam
Reception books a ride to Schiphol for a guest through the portal of its regular dispatcher. The dispatcher has no car of its own free at that moment and sends the ride to an independent driver who is online nearby. The driver drives, the dispatcher keeps its customer happy and earns commission, and the driver has an extra ride.
Cruise ship
A ship arrives with hundreds of passengers who need transport. One taxi company can never do that alone. Through the network the rides are divided among dozens of independent drivers, all visible live on the map.

What is taxi dispatch software?
Taxi dispatch software divides incoming rides among your drivers. In WellTransfers you choose who gets a ride yourself: you see the available drivers on the map, nearest first, with their car and ride preferences. On top of that you get live tracking, offering rides to independent drivers in the network, and your own wallet in which every ride is settled afterwards.
Can I plan pre-booked rides ahead?
Yes. Pre-booked rides sit in your schedule and you assign them whenever it suits you: straight away when they are booked, or later, just before the ride.
Do my customers get their own booking environment?
Yes. Clients book and track rides in an environment with the name and logo of your dispatch company, and business customers such as hotels get their own booking portal.
Can I agree my own fares and fixed prices per client?
Yes, and that is the core of the price calculation. You set your own meter fare per vehicle type, each with a minimum price, plus a night, airport and waiting surcharge. Per client you can depart from that: a fixed price for a pair of addresses, for example from a hotel to Schiphol, a fixed price between two postcode areas, or a separate meter fare in which you can leave any field empty so that the rest follows your normal fare. The app chooses in that order: first a fixed price for the address, then a postcode fare of that client, then a general postcode fare, and otherwise the meter. A fixed price is all-in, so without a night, airport or waiting surcharge, except with a postcode fare: there the waiting time of a return trip with waiting is added on top. You also set the commission the driver pays per client, in tiers based on the fare if you like.
Can I invoice my clients from the system?
Yes, per ride and per month. You switch on invoicing for the client you want to use it for (it is off by default) and fill in their billing details. From then on the app turns a ride on account into an invoice as a PDF, and all rides on account of a month into one monthly invoice per client, with the date, route and amount of each ride and the VAT at the bottom. That invoice carries your name, address, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number, VAT number and bank account number: it is your invoice to your customer, and you download the PDF and send it yourself. There is a preview, so you can see how it will look before you use it. Whether a ride goes on account is up to you when you create or edit the ride.
Is this also software for taxi dispatch centres?
Yes, that is the same thing. Anyone looking for taxi dispatch centre software is looking for this. We call it a dispatcher rather than a centre, because it is just as much about a taxi company with five cars, or a line holder who hands out rides, as about a classic dispatch centre with a control room. The functions are the same: taking, dividing, tracking and settling rides.
Does WellTransfers also cover my CDT obligation?
No, and that is important to know when you compare packages. WellTransfers divides rides, tracks them live, calculates the commission and settles every ride through the wallet; it does not supply ride data to the Centrale Database Taxivervoer (CDT), the Dutch central taxi database that succeeds the taxi on-board computer. You choose a solution that supplies the CDT alongside it, and the two do not get in each other’s way: the obligation is tied to the vehicle and the ride records, and we sit in the layer where rides are divided and settled.
What is the difference between dispatch software and a standalone taxi dispatch app?
A standalone taxi dispatch app usually only decides who gets the ride. WellTransfers is software for dispatch companies that combines ride planning, dispatch, document management and settlement. Your taxi planning software and taxi settlement software are therefore in one system.
How do I pass on a ride I cannot drive myself?
In four actions, without leaving the ride. On the ride you choose Dispatch. You get the approved drivers who are online, nearest first, with their distance to the pickup address and their car; anyone who does not fit this ride is greyed out. Tap one and a single sentence tells you what does not fit, for example too few seats or no rides on account. Then Send, or Send with callback. The driver gets the whole ride as a notification on their phone and has 24 seconds to accept; if they do not respond, the ride is back with you as Scheduled.
Can I give a ride to a regular subcontractor instead of to the network?
Yes, and it is the same action. You send the offer to that one driver, not to a pool that anyone can grab rides from. If you work with the same people more often, you mark them as favourites: in the app they are then at the top of the driver list, and when you hand out a ride one tap shows only your favourites. A ride only ends up with a driver you have chosen and who has accepted it themselves.
Can I simply give a ride to another driver or company?
Yes, provided the driver who carries it out has their own papers, and that is exactly where a loose arrangement goes wrong. Your P-number is personal: according to Ondernemersplein and the ILT you may not give it to another business, and doing so is a criminal offence. It is also shown on the taxi information card and on the ride receipt. A ride you pass on is therefore driven by someone with their own taxi transport licence, their own driver card and their own P-number. Your list only contains drivers the platform has approved, each with their own registration at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK). For every driver we review the driver card, driving licence, insurance and vehicle registration one by one, and a document that is about to expire comes up on our list before its expiry date, with a reminder to the driver. The driver card itself is only issued by Kiwa Register after the CBR taxi exam, with a certificate of conduct (VOG) and a medical certificate.
How long does a driver have to accept an offer?
24 seconds, with a countdown ring in their app. If they do not accept, the offer lapses and the ride is back with you as Scheduled, so you can choose someone else. That time to decide is a platform setting and is the same for all dispatchers, so the platform can adjust it.
What if the driver cannot drive the ride after all?
Up to the pickup address, they ask whether they may hand it back, with a reason. You get that as a notification with a timer, and you have 5 minutes and 30 seconds to approve or refuse; until that decision the ride stays with them. If you approve, it is open with you again, with a button to hand it out again. If you do not decide, the request is approved automatically after that time, so a ride never gets stuck because nobody is online. The other way round, you can withdraw the ride yourself as long as the customer has not yet got in.
Can someone else hand out my rides when I am not available?
Yes, in two ways. You can hand over your shift temporarily, in the app or on the web, to a driver or to a dispatcher from another company. If they accept, they get your open and new rides and hand them out until you stop the handover; the rides stay with your company, and so does the commission. And you can appoint approved drivers as line holders: at the times you set per weekday, or after a request you approve, they may do with your rides what you do with them, from creating and handing out to withdrawing and driving them themselves. They do not touch your money, your fares, your clients or your settings, and what they hand out earns them no commission.
Does this also work outside the Netherlands?
Yes. The network is active across Europe, so you hand out a ride to a destination across the border like any other ride, and you can also give it to a driver who is based there. Mind the price: for a cross-border ride you agree a fixed amount in advance instead of a rate per kilometre. The legal maximum per kilometre and per minute is a cap on the meter. A fixed price agreed in advance does not fall under it, and may therefore come out higher than the meter.
What does WellTransfers cost a taxi company or dispatcher?
No subscription. You pay 5% of the commission you receive (excl. VAT) on every ride you give to a driver through the platform. On top of that only the costs of your wallet, if you incur any: €0.35 per top-up with iDEAL; paying out is free.
Do I need money in my wallet to give out rides?
Only for rides on account. There you pay the driver their share, and the app holds that share plus the fee in your wallet as soon as the driver accepts the ride; if there is not enough, the ride does not go to them on account. After the ride you approve it, or it goes through automatically after a week. For rides on which you receive commission you need no balance, but you do need an active wallet. You top up with iDEAL, and that counts straight away.
